Athletic Background
Cory Littleton is an American football player who plays as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on November 18, 1993, in Spring Valley, California. Littleton attended Washington State University and played college football for the Washington State Cougars.
After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, Littleton signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent. He quickly made an impact on special teams and gradually earned more playing time on defense. Littleton's breakout season came in 2018 when he recorded 125 tackles, 4 sacks, and 3 interceptions. He was a key contributor to the Rams' Super Bowl run that season, but they ultimately lost to the New England Patriots.
In March 2020, Littleton signed a three-year, $36 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency. However, his performance with the Raiders did not match the expectations, and he struggled to replicate his previous success. Littleton was released by the Raiders in March 2023.
Throughout his career, Cory Littleton has demonstrated versatility, excelling as a coverage linebacker with the ability to make plays in pass defense. He has shown flashes of being a disruptive force with his speed, athleticism, and playmaking ability. However, consistency has been a challenge for him, and he will be looking to bounce back and regain his form with a new team in the NFL.
